Gossard
Email
Gossard was an immortal For Eternity's Trials in 2002. He worked on help files
and made sure players followed the rules. Much code work was being done
by Glimi at the time. He didn't have time to update the help
files, so Gossard took it upon himself to update them.
In fact, Sawred and Gossard took it
upon themselves to keep the mud going during a period when no high-immortals
were around to run things. One cannot have enough immortals that are as
dedicated as they are. Gossard is one of the longest running players on the mud,
and he is in good company here, for it seems that many players, once they find
ET, stick around for a long time. He just quit his job in the Spring of 2002 so that
he can go to college to fulfil his dream of
becoming a professional writer. He has taken some time
off to make this transition and he is missed: in fact, one player's title on the
mud reads: "where's Gossard?" Dimi/Jun/2003
Gossard's ET Profile
Gossard started out as a figment of the chaotic,
schizophrenic, and slightly delusional mind of the
greatest thief ever to palm a gold piece in this
realm, Dissident. Over time, this personality
began to take on an entire life of its own -
eventually it even came to a point where Gossard
wasn't invited to the same parties as Dissident,
and the bartenders at fine drinking institutions
would have to serve a different drink to each
personality, depending on which one asked for
"the regular". Then, in a horrible, mind-numbing
REALITY-SPASM, the two personalities were
ripped apart and re-formed into their distinctive
entities - the one was made into two - flesh and
blood and whatever else courses through the veins
of people of their sort (of which there are very
few). Thus the tale of Gossard begins its
twisted path..... one half of a man destined for
immortality, and the other half destined to be
the stuff of legends...
